A man slashed a hair salon worker with a knife during a robbery on the Northwest Side Monday morning.
The incident occurred mid-morning at a salon at at 3604 N. Pulaski Rd., Albany Park District police Lt. William Woitowich said.
Roxana’s Unisex salon is listed at the Pulaski Road address.
The man, who police describe only as white, produced a knife and “slashed” at the woman working there, causing minor injuries, the lieutenant said.
The victim gave the man an undetermined amount money before he fled the scene, according to Woitowich.
Grand Central Area detectives are investigating.
