Curious as to why restaurants Elate, Blue 13, and Jam teamed up this past weekend at Lollapalooza as mega-group Chicago Local? Hanging out with good friends was certainly part of it, but Elate owner Anthony Fiore tells us the restaurant is working with the team from Jam to launch a new food truck called Traffic Jam (get it?) in the next few weeks. The menu is still being worked out, but Fiore says there will probably be a little from each restaurant, with some falafel from Jam sister restaurant, Chickpea possibly throw into the mix. As the project is still under the radar, there doesn't seem to be a Twitter set up yet, so follow Elate or Jam to keep up with what's happening. [The Feast]
