Bonsoiree has always operated with an eight-course tasting menu, but their new Summer menu includes a meta-course called Eight Presentations of Summer. Chef Shin Thompson says, "We wanted to give a taste of the season, so we came up with eight presentations that change over the course of the season."
What does Summer mean to Thompson? Recognizable ingredients like cucumber and asparagus will rotate on the plate alongside unexpected combinations such as marinated shimeji with lotus root or salami, pineapple, and daikon. And as the restaurant gears up to unveil their new patio, you'll soon be able to taste Eight Presentations of Summer in a logical location: outside.
Check out the menu below to see what else you'll be tasting on the new menu. [The Feast]
