Pilot Makes Emergency Landing at O'Hare

28 passengers uninjured in emergency landing

Passengers onboard a plane leaving O'Hare Airport are reportedly OK on Tuesday after their plane had to turn around and make an emergency landing Monday night.

No one was hurt this morning when United Express flight 7164's landing gear failed.

The flight was in the air heading for South Bend, Ind., when the warning light came on showing a malfunction with the landing gear.

United spokeswoman Megan McCarthy said the plane carrying 28 people landed safely, but "it did not come to rest on all of its wheels."

All passengers were transferred to other flights.
