Fresh off garnering industry insider praise for his recent Golden Arms beer, beloved brewmaster Jonathan Cutler revealed his latest sudsy creation last night at Piece. Barrels of Bell End Bitter, an amber bodied beer with an easy finish, were rolled out, tapped and poured to thirsty patrons of the Wicker Park brewery and pizzeria. No word yet on what people thought of the session brew, but considering Cutler's talents, we're guessing more than a few craft draughts went down. As Three Floyds cofounder Nick Floyd recently told Chicago magazine , "it's...about the brewmaster. [Jonathan] just makes good beer." With that in mind, we'll raise a glass, and hand over an Owly, to Cutler.
