There were no injuries reported in a smokey fire in west suburban Oak Park early Thursday, but there are fears that some pets may have been trapped inside.
Heavy smoke was seen coming from the bungalow and fire in the walls and a dormer was evident just before 6 a.m.
The home is on North Taylor Avenue, near Augusta on Oak Park's north side.
