Next to Release Paris 1906 E-Book

Missed out on the first run of Next's highly-acclaimed Paris 1906 menu? Well, you won't be eating it at the restaurant any time soon, but that doesn't mean you can't have the luxury of Grant Achatz-style cooking at home (hey, some people do it).

The restaurant announced via Facebook plans to release a Paris 1906 e-book this August with everything you need to know: "Complete and detailed recipes of every course, step by step pics, commentary from the chefs, and a few dishes that didn't quite make it to the menu."

The hope is to offer a "pay-for-what-you-want" option, with 20-percent of sales over $5 going to head and neck cancer research. Co-owner Nick Kokonas tells Grub Street they're still in the works of figuring out what the pay model will be—possibly working with an e-book company at launch and adding a "pay-what-you-want" option later.

In the meantime, tickets have yet to go on sale for the yet-to-be-announced next menu, Bangkok 2060, launching July 8, which should prompt everyone to fight over tickets, again. Fun! [Facebook, Grub Street]
