After a successful first run of Next's Paris 1906 menu (aggressively beginning with a black market of tickets up to $3,000), the restaurant finally found a good rhythm just in time for the concept to completely change. And with a simple tweet "Tickets on sale soon," the venerable Grant Achatz bestowed the masses with the coveted second menu.
Starting July 8, Next will officially switch over to an ambiguous Thai concept, seemingly eschewing the futuristic Bangkok 2080 teaser in favor of a Tour of Thailand, according to the Sun-Times. Theatrics aside, the menu looks promising (of course), featuring the Tom Yum soup which leaked earlier last month, and salted duck egg with green mango and white radish (still hung up on the duck, huh?).
