AP - The director of the Illinois Department of Public Health says the state's seen a record low when it comes to the number of new tuberculosis cases.
However, Dr. Damon Arnold clarifies the number, saying that TB is still a threat. Illinois had 469 active TB cases reported in 2008, which compares to 521 in 2007.
