Come out of the heat and into interior design nirvana this week during the first-ever Merchandise Mart Design Center's summer Luxury Furnishings Sale, which will take place from Thursday, July 30 through Saturday, Aug. 1. The open-to-the-public blowout will offer furnishings, many not typically available for retail, at up to 75 percent off.
Luxury lines including Holly Hunt, Baker, Henredon, Tufenkian, Brown Jordan and Century will all be part of the sale, which will include Merchandise Mart Design Center showrooms on floors 6, 15, 16, 17 and 18 (so if you've been eyeing anything on those levels, now's your chance to pounce).
The shopping experience will include everything from furnishings, casual/outdoor furniture and antiques to fine art, fabrics, area rugs and lighting. Many showrooms will have designers available during the summer sale to help you picture your new purchases in your abode.
The Merchandise Mart Design Center summer Luxury Furnishings Sale will go from 9AM-5PM on Thursday, July 30, Friday, July 31 and Saturday, Aug. 1.
