At the elegant Sutton Place Hotel, the "Sweetheart's Package" will sweep you off your feet -- literally. You'll be treated to champange and chocolate-covered strawberries when you arrive, an in-room massage for two, a room service breakfast delivered the first morning of your stay and a late check-out (1PM). Rates start at $350, and the offer is available through the month.
Why bother making both dinner and hotel reservations when you can get both done in one phone call? Morton's The Steakhouse at Wacker Place has partnered with Hotel 71 to offer an overnight package including a three-course meal, a bottle of Chandon Rose champagne and a dozen red roses for your table at Morton's, along with accommodations at Hotel 71 complete with a box of truffles. The luxurious InterContinental Chicago on Michigan Avenue is offering a decadent Valentine's Day package. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted with champagne and strawberries in your hotel room, where you'll also get to enjoy a 30-minute Swedish couple's massage. Your evening will continue with a wine, cheese and chocolate tasting at Eno, the InterContinental's onsite wine bar. Rates begin at $249 a night per couple, and the package is available throughout February.
If you're looking to get out of town, try Hotel Arista, a new eco-chic destination in west suburban Naperville. You'll get to enjoy the sophisticated surroundings with an overnight stay for two in a standard king or queen luxury room decked out with champagne, strawberries and rose petals, and breakfast the next morning. Hotel Arista's Valentine's Day package is $259.
