As macarons are phasing out of New York and resurging in Chicago, fans seem to be losing it at the news that the McDonald's in France are serving the trendy pastries. Meanwhile, McDonald's patrons don't seem to be bothered by the trend, as they're currently making decent sales off the pastries that are selling for about half the price of high-end patisseries.
