When planning a multi-faceted, high-pressure event such as a wedding, it's important to call in the experts. Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises, local entrepreneur Rich Melman's legendary hospitality company, knows a thing or two about pulling off large-scale entertaining projects, and the company is going to share its expertise with you.
"To Have and To Hub," Lettuce Entertain You's first-ever bridal fair, will take place Sunday, Feb. 15 at Hub 51, Melman's sons' River North restaurant. On hand will be representatives from the company's parties and special events division to give guidance on choosing venues for showers, rehearsal dinners and post-wedding brunches. You'll get to sample cuisine and cocktails from 20 Lettuce Entertain You restaurants, and Alpana Singh, master sommelier and Lettuce Entertain You's beverage director, will dispense wine advice for the big day.
You'll also get to check out the latest trends in wedding fashion, hair, makeup, accessories, floral, invitations, honeymoons and more from such top Chicago purveyors as Revel Decor, The Cake Girls, Fig Media, Mario Tricoci Salons, Jet Set World Travel, Jenny Yoo and Ultimate Bride. Photographers will be available to take free engagement photos on site, and an ordained minister will even be there for impromptu wedding ceremonies in the "Chapel of Hub," if any couples should feel so inclined.
