Just Say “Oui” to Park Kiosks

Park District brings JCDecaux in to put more dining options in parks

Several years ago it was rumored that Mayor Richard Daley, after a trip to Paris, returned to Chicago feeling tre Francais.

Remember the Cows on Parade? They were inspired by that trip, and later, the JCDecaux bus shelters began springing up all over town.

Well, the city is turning again to that French advertising company for a series of kiosks to be put up in select parks around town, the Sun-Times reports.

Considered a move to "expand dining options throughout the park district," the structures are likely to remind the mayor of his visit to the city of romance, too.
