Buying wine as holiday presents or bringing vino to a festive function has never been easier with the InterContinental Chicago's onsite wine bar, Eno. The wine bar-slash-retail store has put together a flight of wines perfect for pairing with traditional holiday foods, as well as two gift packages.
The holiday wine flight ($49.95) includes three diverse picks: a Graham Beck brut from South Africa (a celebratory sparkler), a Kana "Katie Mae" from Washington (a combination of white Rhone varietals) and a Dm. Berthet-Rayne "Vielles Vienes" from the Cotes du Rhone region of France (a hearty blend of grenache and syrah). No more worrying about what to serve with the holiday ham.
As for presents your recipients can drink, Eno offers the Celebration package (Talbott "Diamond T" Chardonnay from Napa and The Foundry Syrah from South Africa) and the Elegance package (Coudolet de Beaucastel Blanc from Cotes du Rhone and Capiaux "Widdoes" pinot noir from Sonoma). Choose one bottle from the Celebration for $25, both for $45. The Elegance retails for $50 for one bottle, $95 for the pair.
Eno can even ship gifts for you -- just give them your address list, and you're done. Now, how about a nice glass of wine for your efforts?
