MLK DAY: DuSable Museum Of African American History commemorates Martin Luther King Jr. Day with dance performances, films, and forums scheduled throughout the day. More than 40 years ago, King travelled to Chicago to help wage a campaign to desegregate the city's public schools and housing projects. Most Civil Rights scholars believe King's campaign ended in failure, as King would leave Chicago after meeting with Mayor Richard J.
