Inspired by Grub Street's list of outdoor hot spots, we've collected photos of Chicago's top heated patios. To start, hit Vertigo Sky Lounge, atop the Dana Hotel (660 N State St), which is open year-round.

There's no question that ROOF on theWit (201 N State) was the hottest place to be over the summer, and there's no reason why you can't still check it out this winter. Firepits and gas lamps will keep the party going.

A Snuggie might be a good idea if you want to check out John Barleycorn's Lincoln Park location this winter. They're adding a roof and heaters to the beer garden.
Head to the West Loop and check out the Village Tap's heated outdoor area, which is also a good place to drown away the winter blues.

If you're into star-gazing -- at the sky, or at the athletes in the house -- head over the Market (113 W Randolph), because their retractable rooftop will most definitely be closed.
The retractable roof will also be in use at 90 Miles Cuban Cafe's patio (2540 W. Armitage).

You can still hit up Chaise Lounge's upstairs cabanas all winter long.
