Happy 110th Birthday

The Anti-Cruelty Society celebrates more than a century of helping animals

Does your best friend have four legs and a body covering of hair? If so, we hope he is of the canine or feline variety, otherwise we fear for his dating life.  In all seriousness, if you're an animal lover, come on out to the Anti-Cruelty Society,  N. LaSalle St., to help them celebrate their 110th birthday this Saturday, March 7 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.  Enter a chance to win two free tickets to the Bark in the Park, free gifts and the opportunity to display your pet's photo in the Adoption Center lobby for one year.  There will be dogs and cats available for adoption, birthday cake, and a chance to talk to Denise Zak,  professional Animal Intuitive who helps people communicate with their pets. So when Murphy drags his rear end on the ground and then lunges at the mail carrier, Zak might be able to shed some light on what the crazy dog is actually trying to tell you.
Bring an item on the Anti-Cruelty wish list such as towels, newspapers, canned premium dog and cat food, and receive a gift for you and your pet in return.

Call the Anti-Cruelty Society events line for more info: 312-644-8338 ext. 307.
