Slip on the black ties and fancy dresses for the First Look for Charity, one of the most anticipated events related to the Chicago Auto Show.
The swanky gala, held this year on Feb. 10, traditionally serves as the official kickoff to the auto show and always falls on the night before it opens to the public. It offers a preliminary look at the more than 1,000 cars on display.
Aside from the hors d'oeuvres and champagne, the most popular part of the event is the car giveaway. One lucky attendee will walk away with a brand new ride.
The gala is considered among Chicago's biggest single-day charity events, raising more than $2 million for 18 area charities.
