Festa Italiana–Now for Fashionistas

Annual festival adds fashion to its plate.

Perhaps you go for the hearty food and the endless flow of wine (and maybe even the meatball eating contest), but this year’s Italian Fest also has something for all the fashionistas out there.

Festa Italiana adds a stylish twist to the annual festivities with a fashion show featuring local Italian designers.

The festival returns to Taylor Street August 9-12, and celebrates the history and heritage of Chicago’s Historic Little Italy.

The fashion portion happens on August 11 at  4:30 pm at the Rosebud Stage (Taylor Street and Ashland Avenue). The show will spotlight all local Italian designers and boutiques including Kate Boggiano, Cettina, Paul Sisti Creations, Mona Lisa Boutique and many more.

The show is free, but admission to the festival is a suggested donation of $5.
