A Rolling Meadows man is dead after the car he was driving collided with a school bus Saturday afternoon on the Jane Addams Memorial Tollway (I-90) near northwest suburban Arlington Heights, State Police said.
Nobody on the bus suffered serious injuries.
A car and school bus carrying college students collided about 1 p.m. on the Jane Addams Memorial Tollway near Arlington Heights Road, according to Illinois State Police Master Sgt. Ed Petrik, who was citing preliminary information.
The man driving the car was dead on the scene, Petrick said. The Cook County Medical Examiner’s office has not been notified of the death as of 2:45 p.m.
Nobody else was in the car. Seventeen people were on the bus, and some suffered minor injuries, but none of them were hospitalized, Petrik said.
