Buzzer beaters are what make youth (non-NBA, anyway) basketball so fantastic. Perhaps it's just me, but I feel like in college and high school basketball, there are typically way more buzzer-beaters than in the NBA. This could, perhaps, have to do with the significantly greater number of teams, but I'm not a math major. Anyway, the point of it all is that you very rarely see an 82-foot buzzer beater.
It's similar to other stuff we've seen from high-schoolers in the past, but still, when someone hits a full-court heave, it's going to be newsworthy. Most amazingly, though, is just how fast this stuff travels across the internet. Not to sound like Corky Simpson, but regardless of how often something like this spreads, I'm still amazed.
