Don a Toga for Belushi's Birthday

Otis From "Animal House" to appear at Faith & Whiskey

John Belushi has been dead for a few decades now, but his memory will live on this weekend in a series of parties at Faith & Whiskey (1365 W Fullerton Ave).

The Lincoln Park bar is hosting the "Belushi Birthday Blowout Weekend" Friday and Saturday with theme nights centered around the comedian's most popular movies. Belushi would have turned 61 on Jan. 24.

On Friday, Blues Brothers cover band The Bluz Brothers will perform some of Jake and Elwood’s greatest hits.

Cash prizes will be given to the best female and male Blues Brother at 1 a.m.

But the big blowout bash goes down on Saturday when they celebrate the movie "Animal House." The "Otis, My Man, Toga Party" features Otis Day, who was featured prominently in the movie, performing hits live on stage.

Cash prizes will also be given out to the best female and male togas.

Jack Daniels shots and drinks are $5 all weekend -- because that's how Belushi would have wanted it.
