Design Collective No Coast Comes to Pilsen

The artist-friendly neighborhood of Pilsen has spawned No Coast, a multi-purpose building that houses artists studios, retail space and a performance area for lectures, local musicians, movie screenings and more. The collective is coordinated by six to eight artists who work full time in the studios, as well as a troupe of volunteers and interns who help mind the store and pitch in on events and programming. Can you feel the good vibes already?

The artists who work in No Coast's studios have their hands mostly in fiber arts and printmaking, however, the boutique carries all types of artwork, publications, music, clothing and accessories from local, national and international artists. And, calling all creative types -- No Coast sells on consignment, so if there's an audience for your work, you'll make some cash.
