We’re proud to say that four Chicago restaurants joined the Dine Out for the Gulf Coast effort this past weekend, benefiting the Gulf Coast Oil Spill Fund. Thanks to Paul Kahan for getting Blackbird and The Publican involved; and thank you to Bruce Sherman for bringing in North Pond. For three days, participating restaurants across the United States donated a portion of their revenue to help aid those most affected by the tragic Gulf of Mexico oil spill (and the future restoration of the coast, our oceans and our animals). Other participating restaurants included Bottega, the Slanted Door and Houston’s.
