Come On Baby, Light My (Tango) Fire

Dance troupe Tango Fire brings its smoldering show to the Harris Theater

Aah, the tango... who hasn't felt the intensity and simmering sexuality of the infamous Latin dance? (At least it seems pretty hot on "Dancing With the Stars.") Witness the unmistakable sizzle in person when Tango Fire, a Buenos Aires-based dance troupe, turns up the heat at the Harris Theater for Music and Dance on Saturday, Jan. 24.

Tango Fire is comprised of 10 of Argentina's finest dancers, a musical quartet and one vocalist who bring to life the music of Astor Piazzolla and other legendary tango composers. The dramatic, dynamic show traces the history of the tango, taking the audience on a journey through the red-light district of Buenos Aires, the glamorous era of the Roaring Twenties and into the exciting world of contemporary ballroom dancing.

Two Tango Fire performances will take place at the Harris Theater (205 E. Randolph Dr., 312-334-7777) at 3PM and 8PM. Tickets range from $45-$85.
