A few weeks ago, we found out that Chick-fil-A had pulled the sadistic move of changing their first Chicagoland opening from August 19 to September 16. Yes, it's another prime example of wanting what you can't have, but to those who have had the opportunity to try one of those unbelievably tasty chicken sandwiches at Chick-fil-A, you understand why we feel this way. And chances are those fans will be camped outside the new Aurora location at Fox Valley Center (4435 Fox Valley Center Dr., Aurora) for a chance to win a year supply of Chick-fil-A.
Those who camp out starting at 6 A.M. on September 15 for the September 16 opening will be eligible to take part in a semi-complicated raffling system. The rules as follows: If there are more than 110 people, the folks at Chick-fil-A will do a lottery of 100 people that are guaranteed a year supply, and ten alternatives. Of the ten alternatives, one more lucky person will receive a year supply. If you have a group that traveled together and only one person gets in, they all are allowed to remain.
Either way, everyone wins because Chick-fil-A will be entertaining and feeding people during the 24-hour waiting period. Or, you can just show up on September 16 sometime after 6 A.M. and buy a sandwich. [The Feast]
