Bobby Portis Joins Growing List of Bulls Players Dealing With Injuries

Portis sprained his MCL in Wednesday's win over the Hornets

It was another game and another serious injury for the Chicago Bulls, as forward Bobby Portis will be sidelined with a sprained knee ligament.

According to the team, Portis suffered a sprained right MCL during the team’s win over the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday night. After an MRI on the knee Thursday, the team has announced that the forward will miss four to six weeks due to the injury.

Portis is just the latest in a line of injuries that the Bulls are having to deal with early in the season. Guard Kris Dunn also sprained an MCL ligament in his left knee this week, and will also miss four to six weeks due to the injury.

Forward Lauri Markkanen and Denzel Valentine are also on the shelf with injuries as the Bulls are struggling to keep players on the floor.

The Bulls will be back in action Friday as they take on the Charlotte Hornets in a road test.
