Somehow today turned into Pastry Monday: Sam Radov stepped in as the new pastry chef at Publican, Balsan and Ria appointed Stephanie Prida as executive chef, and Michel Cluizel chocolate hosted Thomas Keller's star pastry chef Sebastian Rouxel for a chocolate plantation tour. All of this sugar speak coinciding with three days of rain here in Chicago, drives cravings for a sweet pick-me-up. Instead of leaving room for dessert, we say just skip the main course and head straight for the good stuff at these local restaurants, all of which are ready and waiting to serve you tonight.
