An Eve to Remember

New Gold Coast restaurant is already open for lunch; dinner begins Nov. 5

You've been slaving away at your downtown office for years, and by now you're pretty much over all of your usual business lunch spots.  You've resorted to snarfing down Lean Cuisines at your desk just to break up the routine.  Sound sadly familiar?

We think you'll be pleased to hear about Gold Coast newcomer Eve, an elegantly glamorous, yet business lunch-friendly spot by the same team behind Lincoln Square's Tallulah.

Lunch entrees at Eve include a truffled tagliatelle served with Tuscan kale, woodland mushrooms and grana padano cheese or the crawfish po' boy with tasso ham, fried green tomatoes, goat cheese, remoulade and pickled okra.

Eve will open for dinner starting Nov. 5.  Look forward to entrees like the rack of lamb with sheep's milk ricotta dumplings, Swiss chard, crispy garlic and lamb ragout; and the pistachio crusted ahi tuna with Brussels sprouts, lima beans, blackeyed peas and huckleberry compote.  And if you dine on Hump day, bring in your favorite bottle of vino; Eve will be BYOB with no corkage fee on Wednesdays.
