A Public Apology to Lance Bass

On Monday, we might have insinuated that Lance Bass might not do so well during the semifinal round of "Dancing With the Stars." We stand corrected (and humbled). The blond boy toy and his perky partner Lacey Schwimmer turned out a mambo and a jitterbug that would bring lesser men to their knees -- and he did the latter dance with one shoe, prompting him to taunt head judge Len Goodman with a "no shoes = bad, two shoes = bad, one shoe = awesome!" joke. You had to be there.

At any rate, Bass is in the finals, along with model-"host"-fake eyelash aficionado Brooke Burke and the massively (and we do mean massive) entertaining former NFL lineman Warren "I Wink 'Cuz I Can" Sapp. This lineup promises to either be a complete train wreck (see: Burke's embarrassing fall-from-grace jive Monday night) or a total showstopper (as judge Carrie Ann Inaba referred to Bass' memorable mambo).

You might want to watch history get made with friends and fellow fans at Cityscape Bar's "Dancing With the Stars" finale party on Monday, Nov. 24 at 7PM. Calm your nerves (what the heck will the freestyle dances be?!) with specialty martinis ($8) like the Paso Doble (Bacardi O and Limon rums, plus cranberry and orange juices), the Tango 'Tini (X-Rated Fusion Liqueur, Skyy Passionfruit, cranberry juice and Sprite), and the Waltz 'Tini (Zen Green Tea Liqueur, melon liqueur, Absolut Vanilla and cream).

And, don't worry, we won't be making any predictions. You saw how well that worked out last time.
