Father's Day is coming up, and what do you get the dad who has just about everything? How about a one-of-a-kind birdhouse for outside the kitchen window? It will be a conversation piece for the whole family for years of breakfasts to come. Head over to artist Wesley Kimler's studio this Saturday, June 6 for a birdhouse auction to benefit Pritzker School's Playground Project. The Wicker Park fine and performing arts institution is building a playlot and hopes to benefit from the auction of birdhouses created by more than 60 local artists, architects, as well as Pritzker students. Each birdhouse will go to the highest bidder. The auction takes place from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., and the $25 ticket includes drinks and appetizers.
