What are Easter celebrations without a classic egg hunt? Kids aged five and under are invited to McKinley Park for a free egg hunt on Saturday. Other family-friendly Easter egg hunt options include the Egg Hunt in Storyland at Lincoln Park's Bubbles Academy and the Spring Garden Party at Westfield Old Orchard.
Adults can hop in on the Easter egg hunt fun as well. Search for eggs hidden within Brooklyn Boulders' West Loop climbing facility at their Easter Egg-travaganza event on Saturday, scour the Logan Square neighborhood for Easter eggs at an adult Easter egg hunt event hosted by Longman and Eagle on Sunday, or compete for prizes at Thalia Hall's Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday in Pilsen.
Have a sweet Easter celebration with sweets especially made for the holiday. Delightful Pastries serves a pillowy Easter-themed Polish babka, Weber's Bakery on the Southwest Side bakes a pastel-colored braided Czech hoska and Sicilian Bakery in the Northwest Side creates a rice-based pastiera available only on the week of Easter.
