AC/DC to Perform Concert at Wrigley Field

It will be the hard rock band's first time ever playing at the Cubs' stadium

Hard rock will take over Wrigley Field for one day next fall.

The Chicago Cubs announced Wednesday that the band AC/DC will perform a concert at Wrigley Field Sept. 15. It will be the band's first time playing at the iconic ballpark.

The Wrigley Field performance comes toward the end of the North American leg of the band's "Rock or Bust" world tour.

AC/DC joins Billy Joel and the Foo Fighters in this year's Wrigley Field concert roster for late summer and early fall.

In January, Billy Joel announced he will play his fourth concert at the field on Aug. 27. Two days later, the Foo Fighters will take the field with special guets Cheap Trick, Naked Raygun and Urge Overkill.

Tickets for the AC/DC show go on sale Feb.16 at 10 a.m. central time.
