Tom DeLay was wearing special booties after his big ballroom moment with Cheryl Burke on last night's "Dancing With the Stars."

Due to an injury, Tom had to wear special cushioned footwear, which he strapped on when he finished competing.

"He was diagnosed with a pre-stress fracture," Cheryl explained to Access. "At any moment, this foot can literally break in half."

"So we're going to dance 'til it breaks," Tom added.

Tom first revealed his condition last week on his Twitter account, but he said nothing was going to keep him from the ballroom.

And when he isn't hitting the ballroom with Cheryl, Tom has been instructed not to put weight on his foot.

"The doctor said I need to stay off of it if I'm not dancing," Tom noted.
