Kristen Wiig Dresses Up Like Harry Styles on “The Tonight Show”

Now this is a midnight memory.

Kristen Wiig, one of the guests on Tuesday's second-ever episode of "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," made an impresssion by showing up dressed as Harry Styles.

The "Bridesmaids" star had the One Direction heartthrob's look down to a tee, from his signature haircut to his white T-shirt, black blazer, layered necklaces and point-toe black boots. But Wiig as Styles' accent and knowledge of 1D left a little to be desired.

"Your accent is different when I meet you in person," Fallon said, seeming surprised Wiig's Harry character spoke like an American. But with some coaxing from the late-night host, Wiig figured things out. "I'm from…England! Really?" she asked, before picking up a momentary British accent, "Really?"

Yes, really! The "Saturday Night Live" alum was also blissfully unaware of One Direction's "X-Factor U.K." origins. "We met—at school," she said unconvincingly, telling Fallon as Harry that she, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson played at his home, sent "a tape to RCA," and then signed a deal with the record label.

Finally, Wiig performed a karaoke-style version of "What Makes You Beautiful," only she couldn't quite figure out how the lyrics and music synched up. After humorously making the pop song a bit too folksy, Fallon joined in to help with the chorus.

It's pretty safe to say Wiig isn't the most die-hard Directioner, but that doesn't mean her 1D impersonation isn't pretty funny! Harry's mum Anne Cox was even impressed, tweeting a link to the clip and calling it, "Brilliant!"

"The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," which is starting at midnight instead of its usual 11:35 p.m. this week due to NBC's Olympics coverage, got off to a huge start last night with 11.3 million viewers.

Will Smith, who teamed with Fallon to demonstrate the "Evolution of Hip-Hop Dancing," and U2 (plus all the stars who owed Fallon $100) all helped get the show on the road.
