The Windy City just got a giant gust of romance rumors.
A few weeks after performing his final show with One Direction in the U.S. before the group's extended hiatus, band member Louis Tomlinson was spotted in Chicago enjoying some down time.
E! News can confirm the 23-year-old headed to an ice cream parlor called Oberweis, where he posed with fans and workers Sunday evening. What may sound like a casual outing quickly became much more exciting when a special lady joined him for the outing.
Yes, Directioners, we spy Tomlinson and "The Originals" star Danielle Campbell enjoying some dessert together.
"He was behind her and had his arms around her. It was really sweet!" an eyewitness told E! News. "They seemed cuddly — he was holding her for a little while."
We've also learned that the pair went shopping together in Hinsdale near Chicago on Monday afternoon, where they looked "super happy."

"He was playing with her hair and they kissed for a second," another witness shared with E! News.
Perhaps it's just two friends simply enjoying the winter months in Chi-town. Or maybe it's adding more fuel to the fire when it comes to rumors these two are more than just friends.
Earlier this month, the pair was spotted at Hollywood hot spot Millions of Milkshakes, where an insider thought the "Perfect" singer was "all over" Campbell as they ordered four milkshakes.

"He was being playful and all lovey toward her like couples do," our source added.
The duo has also been spotted hanging out at Bootsy Bellows in Los Angeles.
While both Hollywood stars have yet to comment on the possible romance, fans will continue to "Freak The Freak Out" whenever the pair is spotted together. In fact, when one fansite saw Tomlinson and Campbell walking a dog on the streets of Chicago, the moderator decided to record it on video.
