Chris Evans Wins His Super Bowl Bet Against Chris Pratt

The New England Patriots beat the Seattle Seahawks, and Captain America beat Star-Lord.

In January, Chris Evans and Chris Pratt made a friendly wager via Twitter: whichever actor's team lost Super Bowl XLIX would have to make a charitable visit on behalf of the other actor. Evans, who was raised in Sudbury, Massachusetts, wanted the New England Patriots to win the Vince Lombardi Trophy. Pratt, who was raised in Lake Stevens, Washington, rooted for the Seattle Seahawks.

The rivalry started Jan. 19. "Well, well, well @prattprattpratt, looks like our teams are going into battle," Evans wrote on Twitter. "For the next 2 weeks, you are not my friend, you are my enemy."

Pratt, 35, replied soon after. "We both know there's only one Captain America and his name is Russell Wilson. #SuperBowlBound #LOB #Repeat," he tweeted, referring to the Seahawks quarterback.

Evans, 33, took Pratt's tweet as a challenge and decided to make a bet on the game. "@prattprattpratt them's fightin words," the actor wrote. "Stakes? #whatisaseahawkanyway #somethingtombradyhunts." The "Parks and Recreation" star took Evans up on his offer, tweeting, "@ChrisEvans OK. Seahawks win you fly yourself to Seattle, visit @seattlechildren hospital as Captain America, waving the 12th man flag." Evans replied, "I accept. And when the Patriots humiliate your seachickens, I expect Star-Lord to arrive at @chris_haven in a Brady jersey." They went on to share a handful of memes of the opposing teams.

"The Soup's" Joel McHale wanted in on the bet, tweeting Feb. 1, ".@prattprattpratt &@ChrisEvans, can I be a part of your bet? I'll show up as my beloved character, 'The Bank Manager,' from Spider-Man 2."

After the Patriots beat the Seahawks 28-24 and Tom Brady was named MVP, Evans tweeted, "So much to say!! WHAT A GAME!!!!! Thank you to the Patriots organization for giving me more amazing memories than any fan could ever ask for. Thank you to @prattprattpratt for being a good sport. I'll be there with you at @chris_haven, and don't worry @seattlechildren, we'll be coming there too! And lastly, I don't think anyone can ever doubt the mental toughness of Tom Brady. Tough couple weeks, but he showed why he's the greatest of all time. #PSIdonthearyounow #anyballanytime."
