Police Investigate Threatening Note in “Octomom's” Minivan

Note revealed after vehicle's window was smashed

Police on Tuesday were investigating a threatening note allegedly placed inside “Octomom” Nadya Suleman’s minivan, which had also been vandalized.

The note reportedly read “Leave California or you will die,” according to TMZ.

Police had responded to Suleman’s home in the 2000 block of East Madonna Lane in La Habra, Calif., after her vehicle’s window was smashed Saturday. They later learned about the note from TMZ and returned to the residence to investigate further, La Habra police Sgt. Jeff Baylos said.

The note was not mentioned in the initial police report on the window-smashing. Suleman told officers she has received threatening notes in the past.

On NBC’s “Today” show last week, Suleman said she had begun to use food stamps temporarily to feed her 14 children, who are all a result of fertility treatments. Suleman has been subject to death threats since the interview, TMZ reported.
