Miami Heat's Chris Bosh Gets Engaged

It's been a good summer for Chris Bosh. In July, he signed a $100 million contract with the Miami Heat and now he's engaged.

The lanky power forward proposed to his girlfriend of a year, Adrienne Williams, in front of the couple's new home in Miami over the weekend, reports the New York Post. Bosh's representative Tammy Brook confirmed the engagement but offered no further details.

The couple celebrated their engagement at Miami's Liv nightclub where will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas was a special guest D.J.

Bosh was selected in the first round of the 2003 NBA draft by the Toronto Raptors and quickly became one of the best young players in the league. A five-time All-Star, Bosh also won a gold medal for the United State as part of the 2008 Olympic team. He joins friends Dwyane Wade and LeBron James as part of a revamped Heat roster that's expected to challenge for an Eastern Conference title in the 2010-2011 season.
