Seann William Scott Enters Treatment, But Won't Miss Out on “American Reunion”

The "American Pie" star gets help.

Stifler isn't going anywhere.

Actor Seann William Scott will begin shooting a fourth "American Pie" film May 24, despite having just entered treatment for "health and personal issues," his rep told People.

According to The Wrap, the new film will be called "American Reunion." 

On Tuesday, Scott's rep told news outlets the 34-year-old actor known for portraying doofus jock Steve Stifler in the raunchy comedy franchise had "voluntarily admitted" himself to a treatment center.

He did not elaborate on what drove Scott to seek help, but told E! News the screen star "appreciates the support of his many fans at this time."

Scott is known for his often over the top rolls in comedies like "Role Models" and "Dude, Where's My Car?"

He was last seen in the Bruce Willis-Tracy Morgan comedy "Cop Out."
