Get ready for more fist pumping -- Snooki and JWoww have also scored a “Jersey Shore” spin-off.
More than three months after MTV announced it had inked a deal with Pauly “DJ Pauly D” Delvecchio for his own show, the network said Thursday it’s also created a 12-episode series for starlets Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jenni “JWoww” Farley.
Snooki and JWoww’s spin-off will explore how the pair “deal with life and love when the vacation is over,” MTV told Access Hollywood in a statement. “The locale may be different, but the friendship is sure to remain the same.”
The network also dropped more details on Pauly D’s untitled program, which is set to chart his “life on the road” as a touring DJ.
“Aiming to become one of the world’s most successful and recognized names in music, viewers will get to see Pauly D chase his dream with the help of the best friends he grew up with in Rhode Island by his side,” the network said.
MTV was conspicuously silent on what both deals mean for another “Jersey Shore” breakout star, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, and other cast members.
The “Shore” crew has been prepping to begin filming its upcoming fourth season in Italy in two weeks, but production reportedly hit a snag this week.
According to reports, MTV has struggled to secure filming locations in Tuscany. RadarOnline also reported Snooki, JWoww and The Situation are holding out for more money in contract negotiations.
No word on when the new shows will debut.
