Purple Rain is set to see its big screen return in memory of pop icon Prince, who passed away Thursday at his suburban Minneapolis studio.
AMC Theatres announced Friday that, in partnership with Warner Bros., it will pay tribute to the music legend by playing the iconic film at 87 locations nationwide beginning Saturday.
The film will be played through next Thursday.
