Blink-182 Set to Return as Riot Fest Unveils 2019 Lineup

Blink-182 returns to the lineup after unexpectedly canceling their performance days before last year’s event due to drummer Travis Barker’s medical issues

Riot Fest’s 2019 lineup is out, bringing headlining acts like Blink-182, Slayer, Bikini Kill, The Raconteurs and Rise Against to Chicago this September.

The popular festival in Chicago’s Douglas Park will celebrate its 15th anniversary Sept. 13-15.

"Thank you for 15 years. We’re really excited about this year," the festival's website reads.

Blink-182 returns to the lineup after unexpectedly canceling their performance days before last year’s event due to drummer Travis Barker’s medical issues. The band had previously called Riot Fest “one of our favorite festivals” and said they planned to return.

Also in the lineup are The Flaming Lips, Jawbreaker, Ween, Bloc Party, Die Antwoord, Patti Smith and Her Band and Taking Back Sunday, who joined the festival late last year alongside Weezer to fill in for Blink-182.

The three-day punk-rock festival routinely caps off a music-filled summer in Chicago, following Pitchfork and Lollapalooza. Tickets are currently on sale, ranging from $129 for a three-day general admission pass to $1,499 for a three-day “ultimate” pass.
