The brand new Mamby On the Beach music festival announced its inaugural lineup Friday.
Electronic acts Passion Pit and Empire of the Sun will headline the South Side fest taking place July 11 and 12 at 4100 South Lake Shore Drive.
Promoted by Chicago-based React Presents, Mamby On the Beach features more than 40 artists and bands such as Royksopp, Phantogram, Tanlines, and DJ sets by Cut Copy and James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem.
The lineup also brings a number of Chicago house artists including Felix Da Housecat and Farley Jackmaster Funk.
Tickets cost $99 plus service fees. Festival goers must be at least 18 years old to attend.
