Chicago Restaurants Receive Coveted Michelin Stars

Several restaurants across Chicago received coveted stars in the highly-acclaimed 2017 Michelin Guide Wednesday.

Though the full list has yet to be released, a number of first-time recipients began to leak their awards on social media.

Newcomers include Roister, Green River in Streeterville and Lincoln Square's Band of Bohemia, all of which received one star, according to their social media accounts. Oriole in the West Loop was awarded two stars.

Among the returning winners to the list is West Loop's Grace, which received three stars -- the highest level awarded by Michelin. Dusek's Board & Beer and Sepia also returned to the 2017 list, both receiving one star, according to their websites. 

The complete list of star recipients will be announced this afternoon. The 2017 Michelin Guide Chicago goes on sale Dec. 7.
