6 Chicago Spots Named in Wine Enthusiast's ‘100 Best Wine Restaurants of 2016'

Some of the country's best restaurants for wines are right here in Chicago, according to Wine Enthusiast's national ranking

Six Chicago restaurants have been named in Wine Enthusiast’s list of "America’s 100 Best Wine Restaurants of 2016."

Restaurants were chosen based on respective categories rather than ranking. The restaurant listings feature a brief description and a “riot dish” for foodies to know about. The Chicago restaurants and group include:

Intro Chicago – "New & Noteworthy"

Osteria Langhe – “Amazing Laser-Focused Wine List”

Last year’s list featured four Chicago restaurants, including previous candidates Blackbird and Balena.

Additional Midwest restaurants include Trentina (Cleveland, Ohio), Vertical Detroit (Detroit, Mich.), Niche (St. Lous, Mo.), Reeds American Table (St. Louis, Mo.), Spoon and Stable (Minneapolis, Minn.) and L’Etoile Restaurant (Madison, Wis.).
