2016 Lollapalooza Passes Quickly Sell Out

Four-day and single-day Lollapalooza passes quickly sold out this week just as the festival announced its full lineup.

The $335 four-day tickets were released at 10 a.m. Tuesday and were sold out in roughly one hour. Similarly, single-day tickets went on sale Wednesday and sold out shortly after.

It’s the first year the popular festival, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary, will have four days of music, expanding from the traditional three days.

Sing-day general admission tickets, which cost $120, go on sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday, according to the festival’s website.

Last year, passes sold out in less than two hours.

This year's lineup features headliners such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers, LCD Soundsystem and J. Cole.

The event is scheduled to take place from July 28-31 and feature more than 170 bands. The festival said a limited number of VIP tickets, platinum tickets and hotel packages were still available Wednesday.
