A spoof Twitter feed popped up Monday focused on Chicago Police Supt. Garry McCarthy.
It's not as expletive-riddled as the @MayorEmanuel account that captured thousands of followers last year along with a $12,000 charity donation from Mayor Rahm Emanuel when Dan Sinker came clean as the masked tweeter.
The satiric McCarthy feed instead focuses on the top cop's no-nonsense, manly reputation which came into play during this weekend's NATO Summit as he continuously showed up with Chicago Police to help control protesters.
The Twitter account @GarryMcCarthy1 took notice.
"I don't lift weights to get stronger. I eat people who lift weights to get stronger," the spoof account reads.
"I like to visit Africa once a year and dress up as an antelope. Lions taste delicious."
The author also tweets at Chicago news outlets: "great pictures of me all weekend. It's time the world knew what a real man looks like." NBC Chicago's broken window over the weekend got a mention too: "know how you keep your windows from being shattered? Replace them with me."
