The Buzz: Cole was elected to the House of Representatives in 2006. She previously spent 10 years managing the budget and policy for the Lake County Board in the 11th district.
Cole's "Family Focus" legislative agenda includes improving the quality of life for communities throughout Illinois. She is a leader on women’s health issues, transportation, open space, fiscal responsibility, children’s safety and senior issues. Cole is a former Lake County Board & Forest Commissioner as well as a member of the group Republicans for Environmental Protection.
